My Panties Saved my Life

My name is Riley Taylor and this is the story of how my Panties rescued me from my awful traveling experience. My boyfriend Nick and I have been together for five years. We met senior year of High School in health class. He is the love of my life. The Mickey to my Minnie, the Fred to my Wilma, the Rickey to my Lucy and all the other gross cheesy ways you can describe a romantic relationship. Every Valentine’s Day we have a tradition to go see a movie and then go to our favorite Italian Restaurant on the Lower East Side. This year, Nick got a job promotion and wanted to take me to do something extra special. He surprised me with a trip to Dominican Republic and we were leaving on Valentine’s day for a long weekend getaway. I am pretty sure on this trip he was going to pop the question, so I packed all my best outfits for engagement photos. I am a psycho I know but hey a girl has to look good. On Valentine’s Day afternoon, Nick and I headed to the airport. I was slightly worried because the weather wasn’t that great that day. Nick and I checked in our luggage went through Security, grabbed a Starbucks and waited for our plane. All of a sudden we hear an announcement that our plane is delayed in hour, a hour later we were delayed another hour, two hours later our flight was delayed another two hours. Now, I started to feel gross. All day of sitting in the airport and all I wanted to do was to take a shower and freshen up. I couldn’t even change my clothes and most importantly my underwear because they were already checked in with the rest of my luggage. UGH! I looked inside my pocketbook and saw that I had an extra box of Panty Fresh in my bag. Thank god! I may not be able to take a shower but at least I can freshen up and put on a new pair of comfortable underwear, not feel gross on the plane and utilize my time to hook up with my boyfriend at the airport since we had nothing else better to do.
